Mrs. Naylor – about me

My name is Mrs. Naylor. I have lived in Lebanon for over 30 years. I grew up in Nashville, Tennessee,
but Lebanon is now my home. My husband works at Toshiba. I now have two wonderful grandsons by
the name of Cole and Carter. Cole is eight year old and in the third grade. Carter is 15 months old. They live in Orlando, Florida.
I have been teaching at Sam Houston starting my tenth year. I live on Old Hickory Lake and enjoy walking, going to the Wilson County Fair,
entertaining family and friends, and water skiing. In the winter, I like to snow ski. I like to travel the backroads to different places in Tennessee
with my friends. Sometimes I get lost, but usually find my way home.I am always excited about being back at school and seeing the students again.
I look forward to each new school year. Remember, just keep the beat in your feet!!

Mission For The Class

I want all students to appreciate and experience music from diverse cultures, as well as our own
culture. I want them to be successful and feel good about themselves in music. I want my students to
feel confident when they are asked to perform in front of an audience. I want them to love their time in
music and carry that enthusiasm and love for music with them throughout the rest of their life.
